Tridentine Latin Requiem Mass Altar Cards "Silver
Black"
This new "Silver
Black" design of Extraordinary
Form Requiem Altar Cards centers around Mantegna's
beautiful Renaissance painting, "The
Crucifixion." Formal and balanced, we
used a typeface reminiscent of vintage altar cards
and large Gothic introduction letters for easy reference
during Mass. "I's" have been inserted where
"J's" would be to be true to ancient Latin.
Note that this design includes the "Supplices"
and "Corpus tuum" prayers,
not found on most altar cards. Also, note that the
"Placeat" prayer is placed
at the top of the right column on the center card
so that its view is not blocked by the chalice. Each
set contains one large center card, measuring 12 x
18 inches, and, two side cards, each measuring 12
x 8 inches. Exquisitely framed in ornate black wood
moulding with UV-resistant acrylic glass. Beautiful,
satin-like black moire fabric backing for
a formal presentation on the altar. Each framed altar
card set contains one Novus
Plastic Polish acrylic glass maintenance
kit.
A special, 10 inch
version has also been designed specifically to fit
into a briefcase for use while traveling. Although
smaller, this set features easy to read 12 point type.
Dimensions: Center card, 10 x 15.25 inches; two side
cards, 10 x 6.5 inches. Available laminated only.
